Every source moves through three tests in order. The tests are independent. A source can be tracked but not probed, probed but not verified, and so on.
Tracked.
The source is in the catalogue with a verdict, a bucket, and at least one tag saying where it came from (e.g., polymarket).
Probed.
We know how to fetch it. One of four render methods is recorded: direct render, raw API, alternate-source reroute, or streaming-rebind via description.
Verified.
We deployed it through GenLayer against a representative market, decoded the validator result, and the outcome matched the source.
Color is independent of the funnel. A source can be Direct without being Verified, or Blocked but probed (we know how to fetch it, the fetch just fails).
The sources benchmark doesn’t belong to any one benchmark that discovers sources. Polymarket is just a tag. When a Polymarket audit turns up a new source, it cross-writes here with tags=['polymarket']. Other benchmarks (Kalshi, manual discovery) will add their own tags as they come online. A source seen by more than one benchmark carries more than one tag.
